The Cassadaga Wind project is a 125 MW wind farm located in the Towns of Charlotte and Cherry Creek in Chautauqua County, NY. The project is located primarily on agricultural and recreational land and includes 37 turbines. The project's point of interconnection is National Grid's 115kV lines 161 and 162 near the existing Moon Road substation in the Town of Stockton. The project has the capacity to generate sufficient clean energy to power over 37,000 homes.
The project received its Certificate from the New York State Article 10 Siting Process and was also required to obtain other pertinent state, local and federal permits prior to construction and operation.
