We deliver one-stop energy storage systems

Our projects

Iron Horse

Iron Horse is a combined energy storage (10MW / 2.5MWh) and solar (2.4MW) photovoltaic project located in Tucson, Arizona. E.ON Climate and Renewables as RWE Renewables’ predecessor was selected by the utility Tucson Electric Power (TEP) to develop, procure, finance, construct, own and maintain the combined system. In return, TEP will purchase the energy and capacity from the project and dispatch the battery based on its system needs.

RWE owns the project in addition to providing the development, financing, operations and maintenance. System Dispatching and Energy Management are provided by RWE on a daily basis. The project participates in the ERCOT day-ahead ancillary service market.
