RWE today announced the promotions of Corey Hopper and Tim Nelson to executive vice president roles, recognizing their significant contributions to the company's growth and execution success. This move reinforces the strength of the company’s leadership team as RWE continues to expand its portfolio in the U.S.

Corey Hopper, executive vice president, Execution & Program Management will continue to lead preconstruction, project execution, supply chain planning and logistics, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), operational excellence, project controls, and estimating functions. His organization plays a critical role managing RWE's development pipeline and leading execution across the portfolio. Under his leadership, the organization commissioned 2 gigawatts (GW) of operating capacity in 2025, the second most across all U.S. renewables developers.
As executive vice president, Operations, Tim Nelson will continue to lead operations; health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE); asset management; generation services; and operations engineering teams. His organization supports approximately 130 utility-scale facilities and is responsible for the safe, reliable and profitable operation of RWE Americas' more than 13 GW operated portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage assets.
Announced in March, RWE Americas plans to add 9 GW of net new capacity by 2031 to support America's growing power needs. As members of RWE Americas’ Executive Committee, Hopper and Nelson will continue to play key leadership roles in executing that strategy and positioning RWE for continued growth across the U.S.
