Business Development

As a Business Developer, you will play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects in alignment with RWE’s strategy in North America. It’s already developing in your head while you are simultaneously gathering and analyzing more information. You know that the results of your work are important, even when things need to move quickly.

Technical

As a Technician, you know how it works by heart. And you know that you are the one #TeamRWE relies on when the energy doesn’t flow, and you love to be the one troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems. But there’s a lot more: Information gathering, diagnosing, recommendation – we need your expertise.

Project Engineer, Condition Monitoring Engineer, Integration Engineer, Performance Engineer – you name it, we have it. You play a vital role throughout the entire project lifecycle from development and construction to operation. Countless opportunities on offer for different experience levels and various locations as well.

Supply & Trading

In energy markets and trading, every decision counts. As a Trader, Originator, Commercial Analyst, Scientist, or Back Office Analyst, you’re always thinking ahead and turning insights into action – working alongside teams with many years of experience who monitor global markets and spot key trends.

Application process

The process takes up to 9 weeks depending on the role you would like to apply for. It usually includes the following steps:

Found a role you’re excited about? Click “Apply Now” to submit your resume. We’ll send you an automated confirmation email once your application is received.

If you have your documents ready, the process just takes 3 - 5 minutes.

2. Selection & getting to know you

After you submit your application, you’ll usually hear from us within two weeks. From there, depending on the individual role, your interview process might include:

  • An intro call with a recruiter to learn more about your background, interests, and what you’re looking for in your next role
  • Interviews with the hiring manager and team, conducted by phone, video, or in person
  • An on-site visit for roles where it’s helpful to meet the team and experience the work environment

Your recruiter will guide you through each step, keep you informed, and answer any questions you have.

3. Offer

If the role is a match, we’ll extend a formal offer. Your recruiter will walk you through the details – compensation, benefits, start date, and any other information you need to make an informed decision.

4. Onboarding

4. Onboarding

Once you accept your offer, we’ll guide you through our pre-employment onboarding process, which typically takes a few weeks. All roles require a background check, and certain positions may also include a drug screen, driving test, or a medical exam, depending on the role-specific requirements.

You’ll receive an onboarding email with step-by-step instructions, important timelines, and resources to help you get set up quickly and smoothly.
